UK Drone Map is a reference and planning aid only. It displays data from third-party sources to help you research airspace. It is not a substitute for your legal pre-flight obligations, official aeronautical information, or professional advice of any kind.
DATA ACCURACY — READ CAREFULLY
All airspace, weather, and restriction data shown in this app is sourced from third parties (OpenAIP, Open-Meteo, OSM and others). This data may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. A green display, a clear map, or any indicator in this app does not mean it is safe or legal to fly. You must independently verify all information before every flight.
YOUR LEGAL OBLIGATIONS
- You are the Remote Pilot in Command. You bear full and sole legal responsibility for the safe and lawful operation of your UAS at all times.
- You must check current NOTAMs via NATS AIS (ais.nats.aero) before every flight — this app does not replace that.
- You must comply with the Air Navigation Order 2016 (as amended), the UK Drone Code, and all applicable CAA regulations.
- You must hold valid CAA Operator ID, Flyer ID, and any required competency certificates for your UAS and operation type.
- This app grants no permission, exemption, or authorisation to fly anywhere. All permissions must be obtained from the relevant authority (CAA, NATS, aerodrome operator, or landowner).
